Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) is a chemistry software company that develops and commercializes enterprise and desktop solutions to support R&D efforts, and preserve and re-use legacy chemical and analytical knowledge. We also provide integration with existing informatics systems and undertake custom projects including enterprise-level automation. 

A privately-held company founded in 1994, ACD/Labs has a global sales and support presence, with offices in N. America, Europe, and Asia. Our employees number over 160 dedicated individuals, including many PhD level scientists, with expertise in cheminformatics and various chemical disciplines. Our customers include pharmaceutical and chemical companies (including food and beverage, environmental, water, agrochemical, flavors, and fragrance), academic organizations, and government agencies worldwide.

Solutions
ACD/Labs’ areas of expertise include a unique analytical and chemical knowledge management software; spectroscopic data processing and interpretation for NMR, MS, LC/MS, IR, RAMAN, UV, other optical, and hyphenated instrumental techniques; chemical structure confirmation, verification, and elucidation; impurity, metabolism, and degradation research; ADME-Tox and physicochemical property modeling, and property-based lead optimization; chromatographic method development; and chemical nomenclature.

Development News
Latest development efforts have focused, in parallel, on our two main product areas. The ACD/Spectrus Platform, a new generation of analytical and chemical knowledge management software, is a family of integrated tools tailored to specific workflows within an organization, to facilitate retention and leverage of knowledge. ACD/Percepta builds on the foundation of our industry-leading physicochemical and ADME-Tox predictors to provide a new platform for property evaluation, compound screening, and lead optimization.
